Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra on Friday said the bank's forex policy has remained consistent, in favour of orderly and stable market operation and it does not target any exchange rate.India's foreign exchange reserves as of January 31 stood at $630.6 billion, up $1.05 billion from week ending January24. This was the second straight increase in forex reserves after they had gone up by $5.5 billion last week.
