ALLU ARJUN’S PUSHPA 2 IS INCHING TOWARDS RS 15 CRORE MARK FOR PREMIERE SHOWS IN NORTH AMERICA

Following the success of Kalki 2898 AD, all attention now shifts to Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, poised to elevate Telugu cinema further, and strengthen its global presence, particularly in North America, the largest market for Indian films outside India.

The film is currently in the second position, for the biggest premiere shows after Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, which had opened to US $ 3.9 million in the United States of America alone. As per current trends, Pushpa 2 has minted US $ 1.75 (Rs 14.78 crore) million for its premiere shows in North America, out of which USA alone has contributed US $ 1.65 million with the rest coming in from Canada. The highest ever premiere day record is held by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2- The Conclusion with US $ 4.3 million.

Pushpa 2 is slated to release on 5th December and with just 6 days to go for the release, trade is expecting a major jump in ticket sales. The film has been passed with a UA certificate by the censor board in India.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, which earned Allu Arjun the National Award for Best Actor, has already made waves by securing a record-breaking ₹200 crore deal for its Hindi distribution rights in North India with Anil Thadani. The film also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj.
