STOCK MARKETS REVERSE EARLY GAINS, TURN RED AT CLOSE AMID LATE SELL-OFF

The Indian Stock Market on Thursday lost the initial gains and ended in losses with Sensex losing 800 points. The Sensex had jumped 627.4 points or 0.83 percent to 75,945.79 in early trade while Nifty advanced 200.9 points or 0.84 percent to 23,859.90.

Stock Market opened on positive note with gains as Sensex picked over 500 points while Nifty was above 23,700. Sensex gained 540.12 points or 0.72% at 75,858.51 while Nifty was at 23,785.55 or up by 126.55, 0.53% at open.
