BEL Dividend 2024 Date: Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has informed the bourses that it will hold a board meeting soon to consider and approve a dividend for its shareholders for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. The defence PSU company will hold its board meeting on May 20, 2024.
"We wish to inform that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Monday, the 20*h May, 2024 to consider and approve, inter alia, Audited Standalone & Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter and year ended 31S1 March, 2024 and also to consider recommendation of final Dividend for the financial year 2023-24, if any," said BEL in a regulatory filing.
A dividend is a payment made by a company to its shareholders, usually in the form of cash or additional shares of stock. It represents a portion of the company's profits that is distributed to its shareholders as a reward for their investment. Dividends are typically paid regularly, such as quarterly or annually, and the amount can vary depending on the company's financial performance and dividend policy.
In the last one year, the large cap stock has doubled investors’ money, rising 120.17 per cent while jumped 195.20 per cent in the last two years, according to BSE analytics. BEL stock has rallied a whopping 440 per cent in the last three years while delivered 696 per cent in the last five years. Looking back further, the stock delivered a money multiplying return of 1808.31 per cent in the last 10 years.
At its current market price, BEL's dividend yield stands at 1.11 per cent.
